Are you looking for a controller or to do analog mixdown? Near as I can figure out the Soundcraft (you don't mention which one you're looking at) consoles don't do PT control.

C-24 is a good choice, but is also a bit pricey. Here are a couple of options for less $$:
3 Artist Mix units(can be found used for about $1K each or $3K for 24 faders)
Behringer X-32 console(IIRC, version 2 firmware allows for a lot of HUI functionality). BTW, since the X-32 can also act as the interface, you could sell the 003 and have 32 inputs

I mainly want to have the 24 faders for mixdowns ..I'm told that the pre's are not real good .. But, I have the Octapre , and also the M-audio 2626 ... hopefully that would give me good preamp input . Also have the M-box3 pro ... BTW, I can get the C-24 for a low price ... hope that it is compatable with PT-10.

Still doesn't quite answer the question - are you doing the mixdown in analog (out of the box) or do you need the faders for daw control and mixing in the box? That changes what you'll need.

Behringer X-32 is only 8 HUI Groups I recall. Still have some inputs though

C/24 runs well. I added remote controllable preamps. The built in's are limited to nominal quality.

Eucon from reading seems finicky (I've held off going there so I don't actually know)
Eucon controllers do keep my interest however.

No way I would use the Artist units with protools.
