Seems I tried to installed it a year to wo ago and it wouldn't work on my MacBook at the time. But now it seems to have installed fine, running Monterrey.

I definitely remember a 32-bit compatibility issues there for a bit, but I'm glad it is back and functioning!


I do also find it stupid that we need these kind of apps for Pro Tools in 2022. How arduous could it really be to allow users to sync LTC to a designated audio input. Reaper lets you do it really easily just by right clicking the play button, then choosing LTC + Audio channel from the 'Use input' menu.

This is great news to someone who just bought a MTRX Studio/HD Native TB rig a little over a year ago for Atmos. I knew the days of HDN were limited, but I was really hoping the MTRX Studio would be a long term solution. A TB upgrade would be much preferred over a unit upgrade.

In terms of the HD Native TB support - what does this mean for future Pro Tools updates? Will I still be able to update my versions of Pro Tools? Specifically once they have a full silicon-ready version, I'd like to take advantage of it on my Mac Studio. Would hate to be stuck on a relatively new HD Native purchase

You still have significant time to run until end of support on these products. And while that is pretty damn fuzzy what it's supposed to mean you are likely fine.

Sorry for the newbie question, but does anyone know if the HD Native card is usable with the HDX Thunderbolt 3 rackmount chassis?

Had an HD Omni to Mac Pro set up and looking to upgrade to Mac Studio with the HDX and HD Omni.
