S1 Custom Mapping not working

I feel like I must be missing something simple. I watched the Avid youtube, as he makes changes to his custom mapping, it instantly is changing on his S1, I don't see any change on mine... what am I missing?

Steps:
EUCON updated to the latest 2021.6.0.181
S1 Firmware updated
Open PT session
New track, added EQ3 plugin to insert
Open Avid Control
Go to Channel page / Inserts / Select EQ3 / Select Custom
Drag and drop parameter to one of 8 rows on either side (1x8 is selected)

...Nothing changes on my S1. I looked up the XML file and found it in my preferences, so the file is being created/saved.

Anything I'm missing?

Are you viewing INSERTS on the S1 knobs or EQ?

Ah yes, I see know, I don't normally use the Insert switch, I had the EQ switch pressed. Thanks!

Bummer that you can't program multiple plugins as easily without using the Insert switch... for instance I always have ProCompressor and ProExpander on every track, and when mixing I toggle between the plugins using the DYN switch. Using the DYN switch to program the custom layout doesn't work very well. I can map the Compressor knobs, but when pressing DYN again to use my Expander all the knobs say "na". I suppose I could map them to different pages, I'll have to play around to see if there's a better workflow for me.

Thanks! Yup, looks like I'd need to update to gain that functionality...

(Pro Tools 2021.6 and later): If you want to use Custom Knob maps created in the Inserts function when clicking on an EQ or Dy- namics plug-in in Pro Tools, enable the Show EQ and DYN plug-ins on surface as inserts if there’s an Inserts Custom Map set- ting in the Attention section of EuControl Settings > General. You must also enable Plug-Ins under Attention Most Recently Clicked DAW Area in the in the General tab EuControl Settings. When enabled, clicking an EQ or Dynamics plug-in on-screen displays its Custom Knob map on the surface as determined by the Open Windows on Workstation When Knobs Assigned.
