Duet Firewire Output 3/4 Question?

I can't quite zero in on this online because the newer Duet 2 has taken over & I guess I suck at finding stuff, thought I was decent at it but guess not

Question: The older Duet Firewire. It has a Stereo out and Headphone out. Can the Headphone Out be configured as just Outputs 3-4(no headphone amp) in PT's I/O - so I could have Out 1/2, Out 3/4? I think you can do that with the newer Duet 2.

From looking at the manual (which it took a while to find), it looks like this can not be done on the original Duet. Which explains why they hyped it up as a new feature on the Duet 2.
