Default OSX 10.4.7

Sorry if you guys have answered this question a million times but I am new to this forum. Are any of you guys having problems with the new version of OSX? I am going to ask for an mbox for my birthday and I already installed 10.4.7 on my computer. Anybody pretty certain that 10.4.7 is causing issues?

FWIW, I'm using 10.4.7 with PTMP 7.1cs8 on a PPC Mac with the Firewire 410 (driver version 1.7.2) without problems.

Just installed FW1814 on new iMac duo Intel 2Ghz 20" with OSX 10.4.7. Had to update to most current PTLE 7.1.1 above and get most current drivers from M-Audio's website to get it to work. No problems now.

I'm having trouble with my FireWire 410 and my son's ProjectMix since we installed 10.4.7. You say you're using driver 1.7.2 with a PPC Mac, although M-Audio lists that only for Intel Macs. Did you just try it and it works? Or did M-Audio tell you to? Thanks.

I can't remember — but anyhow, it works like a charm!

Default Re: OSX 10.4.7

Hello guys,
i am new to this forum too...
I haven't started a new thread on this matter, since one was alrady created regarding the 10.4.7 upgrade
I am also having problems with 10.4.7
Used to work fine under 10.4.6
Now, it crashes the second you launch it!
No specific error message...nothing.
I trashed/uninstalled everything and did a re-install of pt and BF plugs with no luck.
I am using the latest drivers for my FW1814 and the latest version of PT M-powered on my intel imac 7.1.1 cs1
Trashed .plist files, repaired priviliges...still problem persists.
If we have a developer amongst us, i am pasting the failure report below.
Any help or ideas are most welcome.
I am trying to avoid a clean system install...
Thanks in advance.
