Post Production Metering Suite - At A Glance

The Post Production Metering Suite is a flexible software package combining the Massive Meter AAX plugin and Massive Meter Bridge desktop application for viewing of multiple meters in a single, customizable view.

The Massive Meter Bridge can view multiple Massive Meter plugins independent of what computer the plugins are hosted on. No special hardware or complicated second computer are needed, removing the considerable cost and complications often associated when creating such a system.

Post Production Metering Suite - In Detail

The Post Production Meter Suite is a combination of the Massive Meter AAX plugin and Massive Meter Bridge desktop application. The suite provides 1 iLok based license for the Massive Meter Bridge application and 4 licenses for the Massive Meter plugin. Additional licenses for the Massive Meter Bridge desktop application can be purchased separately to expand the system and allow multiple views of the Massive Meters.

The Massive Meter can be used on tracks of any channel format. As many Massive Meters as needed can be used in a single Pro Tools system. The Massive Meters operate independently of the Massive Meter Bridge application and can be used on their own.

The Massive Meter Bridge desktop application allows a user to view as many Massive Meter plugins as there are. The Massive Meter Bridge application can view plugins on one or multiple Pro Tools systems. The Massive Meter Bridge application runs on the same or different computer as Pro Tools.

The real power of the Post Production Metering Suite is that the system can be set up to have multiple Massive Meter Bridge applications each with a customized view and each viewing Massive Meters on any Pro Tools system. This allows large post-production stages to have custom meter views for each mix engineer or multiple views for each mix engineer.

This update release includes several new features and bug fixes.

The 1.0.2 release includes several critical bug fixes along with a few new features including support for Multiple Rows of meters and more options for saving Templates.

Multiple Rows

The Massive Meter Bridge now supports multiple rows for both the normal view and the Universe View.

In the normal system view, each system is displayed on a separate row. This functionality is controlled with the setting "One System Per Row".

When in the Universe View, you can set the number of rows you would like to use. The meters are automatically spread across the number of rows selected. This functionality is controlled in the "Rows" setting and can be set from 1 to 5 rows.

The meters are automatically sized such that all of the individual channel indicators are the same width. This provides a consistent view of the meters.

Save Configuration as Template

You can now create a Configuration that will connect to a Massive Meter plugin in Pro Tools and then save that Configuration as a Template. This can speed up the process of creating Templates by starting with your Pro Tools template.
