It is now possible to setup track Banking and Justification when Attentioning a track from the surface.

In Pro Tools from Preferences > Mixing > enable Edit Window Follows Select.

On S4 S6 from Settings > User > enable Select Track Most Recently Attentioned From Surface.

Pressing a delta Attention switch from a channel strip on the desk will now auto-justify the chosen track as Top (edit) and Leftmost (mix) in Pro Tools.

To start experimenting with Channel Strip Keys, go to Settings > Soft Keys > Channel Strip Keys > Import and load my working set.

Channel Strip Keys are independent of the primary Soft Keys that you use whether factory or custom, and can be imported, exported or modified independently, and even Auto-Loaded from Titles and Sessions.

Thanks for starting this page. I'm loving the new Channel Strip Key functionality on my S6 but have a weird general Eucon problem.

After updating PT, and the S6 firmware and Workstation app a couple of days ago, I also updated and successfully opened Avid Control on my iPad (16.3) and connected to a session running in PT/S6. I tried to do the exact same thing the next day and while Eucon on the computer clearly sees the iPad (it shows up and can be selected in Settings>Surface>My Surfaces; the iPad Avid control app also shows the connection), the actual screen content remains blank (no tracks, etc). Same with my iPhone Avid Control app.

Any help would be much appreciated !

I hadn't looked at this much in a few builds, but just did on everything with release versions:

WSControl 22.12.0.81
EuControl 22.12.0.81
Avid Control 22.12.0.140

iPad Pro on iOS 16.3

Mac Studio on macOS 12.6.2
Pro Tools 2022.12 (Native Silicon)
All EUCON surfaces on the same network with a Cisco RV325 Router.

No issues here - everything looks as it should. I'm not sure if you updated on top of your existing EUCON install or uninstalled (Unified Installer), but that may be worth a go.

Thanks for the response as always.

Well, I had high hopes for your suggestion and sure enough, everything worked perfectly after uninstalling and reinstalling EU and WS - iPhone and iPad. But then I remembered I'd checked my iPad right after installing everything in the first place and it worked then too. But then it stopped working after restarting the computer.

So I restarted the computer and it stopped working again ! Why would it work ONLY after installing the s/w but only until restarting the computer ?

You're running a much more modern setup than me. I'm waiting for the fabled Apple Silicon based MacPro as I have 2 HDX cards and a UAD card to host. So I'm still on 10.14.6, the last version my old cheese grater will run. But since everything worked right after installation, why would my OS version have anything to do with it ?

Anyway, any more thoughts and thanks in advance !

There are problems with this release.
Avid are aware, and apparently, are working on a fix.

Hi Kasper,

Thanks for the response. It seems like these folks are having different types of problems than mine. I guess they could be related but mine literally won't even populate the screen - with anything - after connecting.

I hope it can be fixed.

Ah, I see.
I thought perhaps it was related to the problems of mem locations not updating/populating and Layouts not appearing.

Not the same issues.

If the Control App isnt showing in EuControl, try the restart EUCON Apps from the notification Icon. Force restart the Tablet.
