Default Pro Tools Keyboard = $100+?! Seriously?!?

I went on Ebay to get a keyboard for my Windows pc that has all the nice labeled and colored keys on it for PT shortcuts, and much to my shock my choices were to spend over $100 on a keyboard that is basically a $10 keyboard with colored keys on it, or, spend $9 on stickers. I'm not even considering the stickers, forget that.

Can someone maybe direct me to a PT labeled keyboard that doesn't cost more than 10 times what it costs to make?

Thanks.

Don't scoff at the stickers. I paid $18 at the DigiStore and am still using them 4 years later(stuck them on a brand new black keyboard) and they are the best $18 I ever spent(plus it comes with a nice heavy stock, glossy foldout with all the shortcuts listed and explained. There was a company making a nice rubber keyboard cover, but I don't know if you can still get those(they were about $40).

I bought my stickers for $7.99 off eBay. They are a lot better than you think. Hindsight....I tend to use menu commands more than I do shortcuts (I'm not the most efficient user!), but I add in shortcuts as I learn them.

My stickers have done 10+ years, although I have worn a hole in the "S" key

And the control key i presume? ;P

I rarely ever look at the keyboard anymore. I found it quite easy to memorize the shortcuts i use most. But thats just me

I bought a sticker set from editor keys online. Really nice looking stickers that will make any keyboard look professional. I believe they are $20. The website is www.editorskeys.com/

It looks like you can get em for 15.51 at the moment. Hope that helps!

Thanks all for the replies. I guess I was way too quick to write off the stickers. With this many positive testimonials I will definitely give them a try. Thanks!

Yeah, by the time you wear them out, you won't need them anymore
