Default 2022.10 move plug-in from stereo to mono

In 2022.9 they brought in a feature (at least, I assume it was intentional) where you could move (or copy) a stereo plug-in over to a mono one and it would automatically switch it to the mono version. This seems to have stopped working in 2022.10 and I’m getting the old error again.

I'm still on 2022.9 and it's definitely working in this version - hopefully someone can do a quick test in .10 to confirm.

Default 2022.10 move plug-in from stereo to mono

Looks like this might be a bug.

Someone else posted another thread about this.

https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=422258

I suggest opening a case and reporting it so it gets fixed.

Sigh. They fix things, they break other things. That one barely lasted a month.

Indeed.

But, that feature was added in 2021.6. A bit more than a month.

I keep finding things that don't work and I don't have time to keep putting in a case each time. Another one - when you "bypass" clip gain, fine, then try and "unbypass" and it doesn't work anymore. It's like FFS

If you have Melo page open (alt-8) and then open the transport window (cmd-1), a lot of times it shuts the Melo window (why?) but still doesn't open the transport window. I mean I know they can't test everything but surely *someone* tried this at some point?

And WHY does it not remember my "Monitor When Editing Blobs" from one session to another? I literally NEVER want it switched off, but no, switchy offy for a laughy.

FFS it drives me f'ing mad. Andrew Scheps sitting there, stroking his beard, bragging about it like it all just works hunky f'ing dory.

and look at the bar numbers here! - normal mode vs spanner mode, same piece of audio.

Am I at bar 13 or bar 14? Melodyne certainly doesn't seem to know.

I thought they were fixing this stuff ! Literally everything is half assed.
