Default OT: So, who\'s in the doghouse?

That time of the year again. February 14. Anyone get an 002R droppped on their head? Broken kneecap from an out of control Les Paul? Or has all been quiet on the Valentines Day front? As this is the holiday of damage control ( we never seem to get it perfect) has the DUC membership suddenly taken a drastic drop?

You wouldn't have believed how many guys were at Kroger last night just after midnight, staring dumbfounded at the cards with me. Nobody said a word...we were all on a mission, and damn it, we were gonna complete that mission and get the hell out of there.

For once, I was pro-active on this one. Bought the wife a card and some REALLY GOOD chocolate LAST WEEK. I'm hoping for major Brownie Points. Namely that she won't kill me when she finds out what I've got cookin on ebay.

Alas, as a friend of mine once lamented, "There's no such thing as Brownie Points". Is that true, guys? Say it ain't so...

Hi!
Actually a really nice day here
Got a singing stuffed animal, a Winnie the Pooh Valentine's T-shirt, big boquet of flowers, and a gold necklace with a heart of diamonds and gold

It is the one holiday I let my boyfriend get sappy on me. Any other holiday, need some humor, courtesy, and gear to make me smile big and earn those all important brownie points hehehe...

With me, a big, fluffy stuffed animal that is cute will turn me from bitch to sweetheart, but although not as large as (and no plans to be) an elephant, still never forget...honesty, respect, and an incredible sense of humor. That and good grooming habits, and I am actually pretty well "tamed." (ok- you can stop laughing now- lol!!! )

Cliffy, Cliffy, Cliffy,

Not in the doghouse yet, but I am getting ready to be for sure. Getting ready to take the plunge and buy 2 EL-8 Distressors for the studio. They have the Brit mod and stereo link. Should be interesting to see how that one pans out. Oh ya, pile that onto the old Eventide H3000D/SE I am going to buy and I am set to be looking nappy backed, wet-haired and freezing outside.

Should be fun, but hey, the drums will sound good!

Wife and I spent the day in a defensive driving course, I have 12 points on my license a few more points and I get a plush stuffy toy from DMV

She wasn't too happy... ah, I'll make it up to her next year.

Funny you mention "dog house" I bought my wife a 6 week old golden retriever puppy for Valentines. She loves it...........so do I actually. I wish I was in the doghouse for buying gear!

for me, puppy = no kids for a while (5 years or so - I hope)

I worked 'til 3am. Got home and the "Ball & Chain" was asleep. I bought her a nice handbag she wanted off off Ebay today and a little portable DVD player yesterday (but bought myself a 88 key midi controller from zzounds yesterday). I had to eat a TV dinner when I got home, we'll see how much sleep I get today as the final indicator of my status.
