Unable to create DAE Deck error

PT 6.0 G4 OSX 10.2.4
It worked the first few days and seemed fine
I went to record this morning and it wont even launch
I tried repairing with the disk utility but still crashes.
I know I should be using 10.2.3 but all that was available for update was 10.2.4 any one else had this problem?
