distortion on inputs
Hi all,
Every few minutes or so, my inputs into pt suddenly become incredibly distorted. If I record, the files have this distortion on them. If I go into settings> playback engine and just quickly toggle on and off the "ignore errors during playback" option, the distortion goes away for a few minutes, as if it's been reset. As far as I can tell, there's no one specific situation that brings about the distortion - it just happens all the time. I'm not running any plugins. This is definitely a pt problem as I can monitor my delta inputs and there is no distortion on these even when there is in pt. I have played about with my buffer size with no success. I have also done the general trouble shooting steps. A search of the forums reveals that a few people appear to have had similar issues, but solutions to the problem don't seem to have been posted on these treads. Here's a couple of links to people I've found with similar issues...apologies if I've missed a thread which already tackles this problem. http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=279626 http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=231731 My Sandra report is in a post below. New here, so hope I've provided all the neccessary information. I'd be very very grateful for any help, Jonny |
