Doubtful. It would replace something like the 002R, and Digi doesn't let their software run without their hardware...

Compared to the mbox, it's pretty wicked...looks like it can be powered as well as firewire...now, will they come in silver or blue?

Could the S/P DIF optical I/O's be used to bring the additional inputs
into a 002R?
