I'm finding it nearly impossible to set up a loop, save the sample with loop points, and then open it again with the loop points still present. ie, I can set loops on samples for a session, but they can't be saved. Anybody experience this and/or have a workaround/cause for this behavior of the software??
TIA, tl |

We've seen this before...
SampleCell Editor 2.1.1 will not save Loop Markers in AIFFs created by Movie Player, CDtoAIFF, etc. There is something different about the AIFFs created by QuickTime apps and SDII, since an AIFF created or converted by SDII works properly in the SampleCell Editor. The workaround is to open the file(s) in SDII, then Save A Copy As... SDII or AIFF. Please let us know if you cannot solve the problem. ------------------ Jeff Cohen Digidesign Tech Support
