Default Date format

When opening projects (i.e. File > Open Project), how can I get the date format to match what I want (and for that matter to match my computer's locale settings)?

I want DD/MM/YY and not the US format MM/DD/YY

I can't see any settings to fix this quite annoying issue.

I don’t believe there is a way to change the date format on the project dashboard.

I would prefer

"October 24, 2022"

to either 10/24 or 24/10.

So there you go, in fact I prefer even more so that the engineers do nothing about this quite irrelevant issue.

It would be nice to have total control over any of my app's UI and display features.

There are many more important issues than this plaguing users, such as MIDI bugs, Melodyne ARA2 implementation issues, and the transition to Silicon, to name a few of the most visible.

I am pretty sure there is a date and time format within the OSX.

OPen Date and time and set date and time preferences.

All your files should show the way you set it.

Probably true but not in every case. If a date is hard coded <MM-DD-YY> versus <date> it might not change for some displays (these tags are a simplification). Such as calendar apps and spreadsheet that display anyway the user sets.

But it's definitely worth a shot trying, just not a "bug" if it is hardcoded, just not desirable.

All of mine are like Oct 30, 2022, etc. Its whatever the OSX default is.

I don't mind the abbreviation of the month. No real reason for the whole month spelled.
