Ebay selling and warranty

Hi,

i'm interested in a bundle in Ebay, which is the price of the hardware exchange from HD2 to HDX, but without having to get back the HD2.
The item is selling as new, sealed in box.
Is there any problem to buy it, considering the warranty, and considering that i am in France and have to register with Avid ?
