Default New Studio Build

All,
So I have not been on here for sometime due to a move and yet another studio build. THis time I have tons of space to mix, track and just have fun with it all. I have a link below to a section that I am talking about the build in as much detail as I can. There is also tons of good information on this site to give you guys some ideas and tips. Check it out.

The new studio has a control room that is 16x17, a live room that is 14x17, a second live room that is 13x15 and then a vocal booth that is 6x7. There is also going to be a amp room that is concrete and carpet that is 13x14. The studio will be a 40 input capable studio. I am not going to be setup to track right away, but in time I am planning to have 16 channels of API and then 8 channels of the X73 or Chandlers. that tied with the 16 channels on the C24 (if I ever used em) should be pretty sweet.

So check it out when you can here:

Enjoy and have a great New Year!

Doc

Hi Doc and A Happy New Year to you!

This studio of yours is IMHO FANTASMAGORICAL!!!

Nice to have you back especially with this thoroughly explained report
about your new studio. Really nice of you to take the time and let us into
all the details.

I am impressed with your studio and excited about the pictures and movies(and a bit envious too - in a good way ) . But I know you have deserved this, so I will bear with it....hehe.

All the best with your continuing building process. I hope to hear more about
how you progress.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

luffe

Luffe,
Thanks man! I really appreciate your nice post. The room sounds great and I have almost finished my first mix in it. Each part of the room sounds even and no real bass buildup so I am PUMPED! Now if I can just beat this sinus cold and get my ears back. DOH!

It should be a sweet setup when all finished.

Thanks again,
Doc
