Additional OS X system tweaks?
Curious if anyone knows any additional (outside of the standards listed on the Digi site)10.4.x tweaks for Tiger, especially for running Pro Tools or any other DAW application for that matter.
I realize of course, that it's not like Windows where you can turn off tons of services. But wondering if there are things I can disable, like say in Activity Monitor, that would help free up additional CPU resources. I asked this question on the Mac Forums, but got no response. Thought some of you tech-heads might no a trick or two. thanks! |

Re: Additional OS X system tweaks?
Go to applications/fontbook and select all fonts and then go to pulldown menu to "resolve duplicate fonts"
