Default Opening downloaded rigs with Eleven Rack Editor

I'm a relatively new Eleven Rack user, purchased used without Pro Tools for live use only. I've downloaded the editor to my PC and also downloaded user rigs as compressed files. How do I open these to my Eleven Rack using the editor?

Default Re: Poening downloaded rigs with Eleven Rack Editor

Go to my Eleven Rack blog or YouTube channel and you will find a video showing how to load rigs to the Eleven Rack.

For a zipped folder, unzip it first.

Then in the Eleven Rack Editor click the name of the rig currently loaded. Choose Load Rig From Computer. Then navigate to the rig you want to load, choose it and click OK. The rig will load.

If you want to load several rigs at once and there is an XML file provided in the rigs you downloaded, repeat the above steps, but this time chose Load All Rigs from Computer and choose the XML file.

Cool, thanks. Been busy with work and gigs - will check this out when things die down in a week or so.

Be careful when loading presets - they get loaded in the location you had last called up in the 11r (say if you were playing with preset A1 then the loaded preset will land in A1 and if you simply hit "store", you'll overwrite what you had in that location.
Also note that the preset isn't yet saved once it is loaded. If you want to keep it in the 11R you need to store it in an empty location by hitting "save" once, then chosing the preset no. where you want to store it and hitting "save" again.
