No Signal Generator

Hey Guys,
In Pro Tools 10, inside plug-ins-Other I do not have the Signal Generator listed there. Should it be there automatically, or is this a separate download?

If so, where do I get it?

Signal Generator is a mono plug-in only, so if you tried to put it on a stereo or multichannel track, you should look into the multi-mono list.

Note : "Other" is the right category, btw.

Thanks demodigi for stepping in. So I've added mono Master, Aux, and Audio tracks and still nothing. I even looked under Audiosuite.

Any more ideas?

Have you checked if the .dpm plugin file is present in the Plugins folder? (Library/ApplicationSupport/Digidesign/Plugins. That's on mac.)

It's installed with Pro Tools installation.

No, except checking up Plug-ins folders as Ben Jenssen just suggested. Note that Signal generator has also an AAX version (compatible PT10/11/12) so check all of those :
RTAS (.dpm) :
Library/ApplicationSupport/Digidesign/Plugins
Library/ApplicationSupport/Digidesign/Plugins (Unused)
AAX (.aaxplugin) :
Library/ApplicationSupport/Avid/Audio/Plugins
Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins (Unused)

Because I don't remind if the RTAS (.dpm) is considered as a legacy plug-ins and so PT installation puts it in the unused folder (personally, it is in my unused folder but I fired up all RTAS plug-ins which also have an AAX version).

And please, we need more info about your system (help us to help you) : exact OS type and version, exact version of PT, do you have a co-installation with PT11 or 12, etc... ?

O.k. So I have done what you both have suggested:
Checked .dpm and .aaxplugin and unused folders and still nothing.

My Spec are:
Windows 10
PT 10 and I have a free upgrade option to PT 11.

demodigi, I'm not sure if free upgrade is the same as co-installation?

I am not a Windows guy but are you sure PT10 is fully compatible with Windows 10 (maybe PT10's installer failed in some ways with Win10)?

By co-installation, I mean : installing PT10 & 11 on the same computer (I was wondering if you did install PT10 AND 11 and then, for any reason, uninstall PT11, because they're both sharing some plug-ins and some settings).

Note :
- if you install the last version of PT11.3.x, it would also install all AAX plug-ins including Signal Generator which is also compatible with PT10.3.x.
- PT need to be installed from an administrator account AND need to be launch as an administrator (right-click on the program and choose this option).
- Otherwise try to re-install PT10 with an administrator account (or try to get back to Win7 or Win8.1).
