Default HELP with Digi 002 ALT monitor outputs?? NO VOLUME

Hi, I have two sets of studio monitors. I usually use my Event PS8's connected to main outputs and of course the volume and mute buttons works perfectly with them.

However, I just bought some Event TR5's and plugged them into the Alt monitor outputs and I have no control over any volume levels or mute levels on them.

I want to be able to switch back and fouth between the two sets of monitors to hear my mixes from two different perpectives. How can this be done from the Digi 002 CONTROL SURFACE?

Thanks, John..

I use the Alt outputs on my 002 without any problems. Is it the channel faders that have no affect, or the Alt master level knob? Have you pressed the "mute" button so it's dark? It will always be muted by default everytime you start up the board.

It's certainly not muted. I've pressed everything. I tried turning down the master volume with the alt src mon button lit as well. Nothing seems to work, I cannot control the ALT monitors.

Thanks, John..

Either the board is defective, there's a wiring problem, or operator error. The Alt outputs work fine on my 002.

On a functioning 002, with correct wiring, you can control the output volume and mute as you would expect. I don't mean to imply that you aren't intelligent, I have done (and will do in the future) much dumber things than overlooking the obvious.

Pick up a Samson C-Control ($99) or similar device to switch between monitors and use monitor outs only.
