MBox Mini Craclking
I'm running an Mbox Mini into a MacBook 2.0 Gig running Snow Leopard with 2 gigs of ram. I have updated the to the latest versions of the MBox and for the first few weeks everything was fine, now within an hour of recording everything that passes through my MBox gets static-y. The monitors crackle and all tracks I record are crackly. It's like the sound a an old record player but more piercing and not quite as cool.
I'm running no externals other than MBox so I don't think it's a clocking problem. I would think grounding in my home, but it worked for so long with no problems that I don't think it's that. Any help, friends? |
