Hi,

The Matrix pickoff points are chosen on the Options > Pickoffs page. Choosing the Pre-Fader option for the LR+M Matrix source includes the LR+M GEQ. If you'd rather not have this GEQ applied, choose the post-fader insert point for LR+M, and the pre-fader matrix source. This combination puts the GEQ downstream of the matrix send.

Feeds to the matrix are always pre-delay, because matrix feeds often have their own delay requirements.

I understand the rational, but post delay matrix sends are good to have in theater, where in addition to any timing of the matrix sends in general, there may be timing of mixes to the matrix. An example would be an onstage band, where the band feeds may be delayed into the PA differently than the actor's head worn mics. It is a common request when I am programming theater consoles.

Hi Mac,

True enough. The solution here is to use a delay plug-in on the mains, which would then put the delay upstream of the matrix pickoff point.
