Default major crash..NEED HELP
I'm working with PT HD2, 192 I.O, cntrl 24 and a mac G5 Dual 2gig. ITs a new system, still waiting on the installation of the glyph audio drive in a couple of days. However, i'm a bit worried...everytime i go into PT's to create templates or play back an audio track for example, the machine freezes and i have to restart the box. What can be causing this to happen?

I've updated the OSx to 10.3.2 and i've updated the version of PTs. I've deleted the database folders, gotten rid of the unused plug ins...not sure what else to do...

Start disk utility, select your hard disk, go to the SOS tab, then click on repair authorization.

What version of Pro Tools are you running now? 6.4?

i'm on version 6.2.3 haven't upgraded yet..PT's just crashes..even when nothing is really happening..
i'll give the disk utility a shot..
will reinstalling do anything?
