How to maintain your cookies/spyware
Im having a problem with cookies and spyware and since some of you know alot about computers I figured I'd ask you folks. My problem is when I go to internet options and I put block all cookies I get no spyware, but at the same time at places like this when I try and login as soon as I try to go to the forum Im automatically logged back out. When I do High, the spyware still gets through. I had ad-aware but running after im done using the internet EVERYTIME gets tidius. Anyone know what to do?

Re: How to maintain your cookies/spyware
Run the free Lavasoft Adaware from time to time. It works great, and won't toss the cookies governing any sites that aren't spying.

Re: How to maintain your cookies/spyware
You can run Ad-Aware in the background after you're off the net. You don't have to stop working.
There was a threead on security earlier, right here I strongly recommend an on-line check-up at pcpitstop.com which will highlight any possible security holes you may have. |

Re: How to maintain your cookies/spyware
4 things:
1.)Dump IE and run Mozilla. (mozilla.org) 2.)Download Spybot Search and Destroy from cnet.com 3.)Download Spyware Blaster from javacoolsoftware.com 4.)Drink a beer. Make sure that you update Spybot before scanning your pc. Paul

I thought it would be a no-brainer Idea but I cant find it newhere.....Unless its ad-watch in which case doesn't work that great.

Re: How to maintain your cookies/spyware
What I mean is you just run it when you're off the net, and carry on working as normal. It will scan your files in the background, and give you a 'bloop' when it's finished. Not recommended when you're actually running PT. Updates available daily (except weekends).
