Eleven Rack Editor not working

I'm trying to use the Eleven Rack Editor window but whenever I try to open it, it doesnt open, just freezes on the blank screen. The 11R itself works fine, just the Editor that I'm having issues with.

Using this on Windows 10 and with the new Pro Tools update. Any ideas?

I had this problem (I think it is the same). The Editor requires QuickTime, so you'll have to install that.

With the news of QuickTime on Windows no longer getting security updates, I'm not sure what the future holds for the Editor though.

Hmmm, I installed the Quicktime player but still nothing. Even tried running as an admin and with different compatibility settings. Hopefully this can get solved, it's pretty annoying as I loved the Editor.

Uninstall and reinstall? I am assuming you have done that. Maybe download from avid again? Have you tried deleting the 11R preferences?

Hmm.. Running fine here, and I know Benoni is also using Win 10 with his Eleven Rack. The only issue I had was QuickTime.

Working fine on one Windows 10 machine here. Not on the second one...... Go figure.

I don't even get a blank window, just an error message about not being able to start a .dll file (FFmt.dll - Avid's own btw).

I am now experiencing the same issue. it acts like it's reading from the rack, and then the window disappears, all that's left is the taskbar icon.

This has been working fine in windows 10 for over a year.

Uninstall/reinstall solved nothing...

Update:
this is now confirmed as happening on both my studio desktop, and home desktop. I even installed the software on a laptop, with the same result.

this is really frustrating, considering i just reset my rack, thinking it may be the issue. now i have no way to put my custom patches back on.
