Default New Recording (My Daughter and her friend)

Hey All,

Here is a new recording of my 16 year old daughter and her friend....all Eleven Rack and Pro Tools....hopefully an EP by the end of the year....

Very nice!!! Good clean mix. What vocal mic did you use on the girls voices? Great selection!

I used a Studio Projects C1 mic direct into the Eleven Rack....

WOW....we may just have a brand new, bonafide platinum recording vocalist in our mist! She has an incredible voice...must take after her daddy

That sounded great! I'm guessing that this was a father/daughter project? Very cool indeed!

Thanks for all of your kind words....Yes a father daughter project....my daughter and her friend wrote the song and I had them play and sing it to a drum loop and then I went back in and did some tweaking ()....then I had them sing it again to the new arrangement....they have about 20 songs and I have been impressed with the melodies they have come up with...

Sounds great. My Duaghter uses a tascam handheld to record and I cant get her to record into Protools so I can mix it. I will need to play this for her to hopefully provide some inpiration.
