Strategies for Navigating in Xpand2

So how do you all do it??

If you have tried, you know what I mean...unless I am missing something.

Loading a patch from one of the banks and up pops a window with dozens of voices.

They are not alphabetized, or given a number
After previewing a voice, you have to find you way back in to the sound you loaded by staring at the screen.

You go batty.

Even worse, there is no simple + - option to get to the next sound.

My scroll wheel does not work either, though it did in Xpand 1.

Please tell me there is a better way????

thatz been a topic in many many threads It does make for quite of bit of suck'age to not even really know what patch ur even on nevertheless the other points u made...

That is just crazy.

After 15 minutes of looking for sounds, I gave up on it.

Too bad because I like some of the sounds. The interface makes it unusable.

I don't know how you guy's are using Xpand!2 but if you have eyes you will see a Part Slot that will have a Category number and name from where the Part Name belongs.

Yes Xpand!2 has some short comings but it is far superior to programme than thee original.

Then learn the use Xpand!2 really. Navigate Presets.

I don't use it except to do dummy music to send to som1 else for ideas so it ain't crucial for me @all...

There's a dummies version coming in 2020, in the meantime you take Filo's advice, not sure what the issue is!

thatz good...until then the issue is(& I just purposely pulled it up on this session after reading ur comment) that one has no freakin idea as to where u are when goin thru patches not to mention when goin thru them VIA LOOKIN @ THE LIL # & NAMES they go in random order, which is still "an issue", not to mention the is no type of Highlighting of what patch ur own so that means u have to revert to LOOKIN @ THE LI' READINGS & once u click on that to try to keep up with what ur lookin @ it getz confusing ergo causing another issue hence the thread "Strategies for Navigating in Xpand"... which is THE issue...
