Default DIGIDRIVE 18K 10KRPM SCSSI CAPABILITY

Howm many tracks can I have under a digidrive 18k with an adaptec 2949UW? MY MAc is the beige 233MHZ with 160Mega RAM

The number of tracks a single drive can yield really depends on the edit density of the session...a heavy edit density could be quantified as one edit every third of a second.

With light to moderate edit densities, I would venture to guess that you could achieve at least 32 track playback at 24bit. 48kHz.

-With TDM systems we support a maximum track count of 32 tracks from a single, dedicated IDE drive...I'm assuming this is with light/moderate edit densities since the compatibility documents do not specify:
