low latency monitoring on PT LE 7.1 w/Mbox 2 ??

I previously worked with a Dell Pentium 4 2GHz desktop with a Digi 001 and PT LE 5.3.1. On that version I was able to select "Low Latency Monitoring" so I could record live along with the tracks I'd already sequenced in PT. However I can't seem to find this function in PT LE 7.1. The only way I can seem to do it is to toggle the Mix switch on the MBox 2 so that I can just barely hear the PT tracks and so that the live input is just barely delayed. This seems a little backwards to me. Is there any way to activate Low Latency Monitoring in PT 7.1? Can't seem to find anything about it in the FAQ but maybe I'm just impatient.

Low latency monitoring isn't an option in the software of the Mbox. That's what that mix knob is for. Check out page 157 of the PT reference guide for more detailed info.

It's sad but it's no"low latency monitoring" fonction on PT using m-box hardware.So bouncing instrument is a pain in the....I thing that this box is only a dongle made for mixing whitin PT.The zero latency monitoring is a big joke.It is only an input monitoring .From the 001,m-box is a huge downgrade.You better try the 002r.Cheers,Stefan
