Default Midi Question

Hello, I am new to the midi side of things and I am wondering if I can make use of it without having a midi keyboard. Can I just type in the notes and then move them around? I have sampletank and want to play around with the sounds, but can't find a way. Thanks in advance!

Hi
You can use your mouse and click in the note on the piano roll. I find it easier in grid mode. Don't know of a way you can use the keyboard. Also you can expand the track if you need to work in smaller measures etc. and you can change note length.
Hope this helps
