Default GeForce vs Quadro vs ?

I have heard that some GeForce cards can cause issues with Pro Tools, but I wished to know how wide spread that is, as well as are the Quadro cards that much of an improvement? I currently own a GeForce GTX260 and I wasn't sure if this could cause me problems, or if I should sell this one and buy a Quadro card instead. Also if there are any cards that might be better than either line, possibly not even nVidia, I would like to hear that as well. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i have never had any issues with either card series. a better upgrade would be higher quality ram in my opinion. Also using all of the same ram helps to. As long as the graphics card is dedicated it shouldn't cause any issues unless your PSU isn't capable of handling the card that could cause heating issues along with the card not receiving enough power to function at all like it is supposed to. So my advice is don't upgrade the card, all you need in my opinion is a 512MB card other wise you might be disappointed if everything acts the same after the upgrade. Quadro is better for game design and film production.

Which RAM cards would you recommend? Currently I had Mushkin Enhanced cards snuck into my system, but I really don't know if those are any good. If those are utter crap, then I'll force the person who built my system to swap them as he claimed he was putting Kingston or Patriot cards in my system instead. Maybe recommend specific RAM cards if you can? Thanks.

I was looking a bit at these, but I don't know how good they are with Pro Tools:
