How to get computer to recognize a microphone

Hey there. I am using the original Mbox to do my recordings and it is working out great with Pro Tools.

However, I want my computer to be able to use the one of my microphones that is plugged into the Mbox the same way it recognizes the other kind of microphones you plug into the back of your computer (typically the red port near the audio ports). Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, No.


You can use the microphone in any other application that has ASIO capabilities, but anything that requires the generic windows input? You are out of luck.
