Hi all,
I will work on PTools 6.9 on MacOsX to do some sound design on a film. The problem is that may all SFX libary is Bwav format with description filled in the metadatas and files named as ie "EVL-01_01.wav". I've tried to load my sounds in the digibase, and all metatdata's are read in the Digibase Finder ( File Comments fields filled with good metadatas ... no problem for this). The problem is situated when I do a search in the digibase. I search in the "File Comments" for a word ( " forest" for example ) and the probleme is that the results displayed in the "results" window, have a "?" inside the "File Comments" field instead of the right description read just above. The weird thing is that good files has been found (for the search " forest" that's the good forest files the search engine found) Is someone got an idea to solve that problem or is it a real known / unknown bug in the digibase Thanks in advance ... You should probably try trashing your database files to see if that fixes the problem.
