SC-2 Pops, Sticks, and Hi Hats Need Help

I have two SC-2 cards in my Bit 3 expansion chassis. I have a random popping or clicking when I play back drum samples. I also get an endless sustaining of synth samples when playing them back. This is fixed if I mute the instrument, and when I unmute it, it works for a while and then freezes in an endless sustain again randomly.
Finally, since I'd like to use SC-2 instead of a drum machine, I find it very hard to make hi-hats work like a drum machine. I'd like for the open hat to close when the closed hat sample is triggered.
Can anyone help with these 3 problems?

The sticking notes thing has happened to me once or twice, but I've never got to the bottom of it. Clicks and pops may indicate a TDM problem, or even some other hardware problem.

The drum box hihat thing is quite simple, though. Set the hihat instrument to monophonic, in the 'misc' editing page.
