Native Thunderbolt - UAD Satellite Thunderbolt daisy-chained

We have a problem with the AVID Native Thunderbolt Inferface and the UAD Satellite Thunderbolt Interface.

A few months ago it worked fine with the Native Thunderbolt Inferface daisy-chained behind the UAD Satellite Thunderbolt Interface.
(iMac -> UAD -> AVID Thunderbolt. Because the Native Thunderbolt has only one Thunderbolt)

Recently, however, this no longer works.
Pro Tools does not recognize the Native Thunderbolt interface as an playback engine.

If you connect both interfaces to the iMac separately it works, but if daisy-chained then not.

Unfortunately we don't have too many ports on the iMac, so we wanted to ask what the reason could be before we have to buy an adapter.
