Default Protools LE: what hardware?

I know this is pretty basic, but I use an HD system so know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about LE systems.

I'm considering putting an LE system in another room, and could use some quick answers regarding my I-O options.

Is it the same as Mix and HD, in that I MUST use digi interfaces, or can I use any pci or USB card?

I need to know for basic audio, midi and lightpipe.

ALSO: Assuming there's enough cpu power, do all TDM plugins run, or is it RTAS only?

thanks.

You can go all the detailed information from the product section on www.digidesign.com. It is very helpful to me.
