You can use a cheap pc beside your mac for adding Native Instruments/Effects if you use a sequencer thats running with AU or VST Plugins. Great
But use only Gigabit Ethernet ! Works great !
I have nothing to do with this company, only love this !
And if you want to also send midi from mac to pc use midioverlan !!

Thats realy cool, i can now throw my cables and audio card also from pc away.
And it is a cool addition to your ProTools system.
Digi you should buy these both companys for the intilgence of the products.

$169 for a 4-port midi over lan interface? Unless someone tells me the latency is significantly less than a hardware midi interface, it's hard to justify...

Is the latency significantly tighter than hardware midi interface (RME HDSP 9652)?
