PT12 Win10 Activation Failure

I'm trying to install PT12 on a PC running windows 10 home. (I normally use it on Mac). I installed PT12.8.3 fine, no issues. Installed ILOK license manager, which reads my iLOK2 fine and shows me my licenses for PT10,11, 12 and 2016. But, PT12 will not activate. I get stuck on the screen that asks me to plug in my iLok.

I also found it interesting that I cannot transfer my PT licenses from the iLOK to the PC.

Has something changed I'm not aware of?

Why are you trying to "activate" anything, if you can see the license on the iLok just run Pro Tools.

No version of Pro Tools 12, and no version besides Pro Tools Intro supports a machine license, regardless of being a Mac or a PC.

Nope.

This 10/11/12 bundle is from the 2016 perpetual license? If so you should be OK, but there are different Pro Tools 12 licenses, at least stand alone ones, that only work prior to Pro Tools 12.6, and one that work for 12.6 and later, are you running later than 12.6 on your Mac with this license?

Thank you. Looks like the version is the problem. Im running 12.4 on the mac. Unfortunately, the only options in the download center are 12.6 and above. Any idea where I can get the 12.4 installer?

Ah doh, 2016 was the year that 12.6 came out, so that should have been a more likely suspect that I said, I think I kept misreading that as Pro Tools 2019 which was had a year code release name and also included 10/11/12 license with the release.

Right you are, I wish the download center had copies of 12.5 but there may be reasons it does not. If you really need 12.5 or earlier you'll likely need to get help from Avid staff here or Avid support.
