Default Mide-Side Recording

Working on PT7.0 TDM system. Doing some field recording in MS Stereo with Senn 418. Looking to hear if I can decode into PT? Any suggetions?

Pan the Mid Channel right up the center, duplicate the Side channel into 2 tracks. Put a trim plugin on all three channels (1 Mid, 2 identical Sides). On the duplicate Side channel, flip the phase on the trim plugin. Pan that channel Left. Pan the original Side channel Right.

Or use Waves MS encoder/decoder or something similar.

I think you want the non-phase flipped side channel pointing the left channel, and the phase-flipped one panned right.
