Angle or not if you scale a jack above the output I don't see it being able to fit.
Not for how little depth there is in that step.

I can see them in the planning department sharing their new 003 with focus groups. The focus groups report that some features are missing, etc so......

Fake a realllllllly bad 003 so when the average upgrade is released people will drool. LOL

Ya, very disappointed. It appears that Digi does not look, read, or analyze the key thing in marketing to the consumer. The very thing that keeps a company alive. The detailed information in a FORUM (and numerous ones) that specify what the consumer wants out of a needed and long awaited update to their product line. This is by far NOT the case with the 003 if in fact this is the new version. You would think that 16 channels would be considered, heck 8 would have been nice.

Oh well, HD looks like the way to go, but man I am bummed at what this may bring. It looks nice, but I think that the knobs are NOT touch sensitive. They look like soft plastic and that is all. World Clock? for a grand you can get a Big Ben, so that seems pointless and the BIG BEN is sweet.

Just seems to be a 002.1 upgrade like they all have said.

Sad Digi, very sad. I was not going to comment, but I have to agree with the rest of the guys here. Details, pay attention to the details of the consumer.

no look closer, the back side of the 003 is split on 2 different levels, the bottom is recessed more into the body... there is an input it is jsut blocked by the top levels overhang..

One last thing and I'll let this one rest.
Did any else notice that the inputs and outputs are reversed from their locations on the 002R?
Compared to the location of the pots for the Pre's 1-4 on the front?
Kinda curious why you would cross wire the PC board draging the input side though the output side and put the pots for pre's 1-4 on the farthest corner of the board away from the actual inputs for these Pre's making the traces that much longer and more likely to crosstalk thus raising the noise floor.


If this real this a very strange design.
