Pre Mics 002 Rack, which input?
If I bought I nice preamp, like a presonus or something, which input whould I use.
Would I input it into 5-8?? |

I've got 2-8 covered on the 002r, though I realize that even though I'm going thru the line/ instrument input you still get the gain stage of the 002 pre too.
I've got the Presonus TubePre at 2, API 312's at 3-5, and Neve 1073's at 6-8. Be sure to pick up a very good cable with your new pre, it needs to be XLR female to TRS 1/4" (balanced)
