Is UAD LUNA now NATIVE?

Just looked in my iLok account and there is a license for LUNA in there.

AS well as the A800 and some others that have started to come out.

Any UAD owners notice this?

No, you need a TB UA interface.
They inexplicably use iLok for copy protection despite this.

UA has recently made several of their plugins available as native counterparts. Because of this the native counterparts (and LUNA) use iLok as copyright protection. As of this writing only 11 or 12 of their plugins are available as native alternatives and you still need an Apollo interface to use LUNA.

Spark offers 18 or 19 plugins. Maybe you're not including the instruments, but they're plugins/products, too.

All LUNA extensions are indeed Native. UADx is entirely native. Check out Spark

Tho I had to run UA Connect under Rosetta to get it to play nice in PT.

There have been a few conversations about Spark recently (elsewhere, mainly. Not here) where that word with dual meaning does trip up the conversation. I knew the initial question was about non-UAD hardware usage, but may have jumped the tracks on the recent question. Sorry if I added confusion.

In any case, the ability for non-UAD hardware users to have access to Luna would indeed be exciting, but the topic likely wouldn't get much traction on the Avid forum, if the mods even allow it to remain.
