PTF Project download problem!!

Hi again Netmania

If it's ok I would like to ask you something again regarding my earlier, and still ongoing issue?
I wasn't sure how to get the 2018.7 version as it seems only the most recent version is available to download from Avid.
Anyway I've done this but still having the same saving issues.
I assume it's because my OS isn't compatible.
Would you have any other suggestions or even how to get the compatible PT 1st version?

There's a lot of 'read me' info but no obvious download 2018.7 links?

Please take the first link and log in with your avid account. Then you can see a list of all Avid Applications. Choose Pro Tools First. Next you will see all Pro Tools First Installers from 12.3 on to 2021.3. Now choose your desired Installer and be patient. It will take a while. After that choose the Mac Installer.

Unfortunately i don't have any older systems (El Cap) anymore since i shifted to Apple Siliicon M1, but maybe try the Installer for the last version 2021.3. If it doesn't work go one step back to 2020.9 and so on.

I was actually able to download the 2018.7 version for El Cap!

However there now seems to be another problem.

I assumed the new PTF version would override the one I had, as it did before,but I am still with the 2021.3.0!!

I'll investigate further tomorrow but I just wanted to fill you in on how things went so far :)

After failing to install the version of PT that I want, I have ended up with the white screen of death for my troubles!!

Off to Apple tomorrow for some help, fingers crossed
