Default Pro Tools9 002 not recognised?

I have pt 9 running on osx 10.6.7 with a 500 gig SSD and 8 gig of RAM. I open pt no probs and it instantly designates the internal mics/outputs from the laptop. In hardware it sees the 002 but says 0 ins and 0 outs and wont let me use it as the interface. Can anyone please help?

Okay sorted it - there is a drop-down menu in the 'Playback Engine' dialogue box where you need to select which piece of hardware you want to use for playback. Easily missed.
