problem with coreaudio 6.5.1 ,,pt6.4 and reason

i have problem with the new coreaudio multiclient 6.5.1 ,,,when i use reason with my keyboard the coreaudio lost conection with my digi002rack

Try installing the 6.4 Driver instead. It's still available as a stand alone download from Digi. It's not multi client, but it works...

try with coreaudio previous,, and blocked the pro tools software,, the screen puts black and I must reset my computer

I have the same problem with my Roland PC-300 after the update.

I just up-graded my 001 to the 002. OS 10.3.4, PT 6.4. I finally got PT to recongize the 002, but core audio 6.5.1 manager will not recongize the 002. It shows the 001 is the hardware and it is not there. When I open the HW window it shows both the 001 and 002. I select 002 and close the window but it goes back to 001. How do you get core audio to recongize the right hardware? Anyone having same problem?

Hi Larry,

Is it possible that PT is running when you try to launch the Manager app? If so, make sure PT is quit, then launch the Manager. Once the Manager succesfully connects to our HW, it will automatically update itself to the 002. It sounds like something is preventing it from connecting, and the first thing to check is that PT is not running.

PT is not running. Core audio keeps opening up with 001 as the HW. The HW window has both 001 and 002 but when I select 002 and close window it returns to 001. I have reinstalled both PT 6.4 core audio 6.5.1 and get the same results. The 002 is working fine with PT 6.4 but will not support other apps. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help. Larry

Also the 002 does not show up in the Audio-Midi set-up, it shows Built-in and Digi HW 001

Problem solved. Stupid me, I forgot to remove 001 card. Now everything is working like a charm!
