Default Auto Cross Fade in PT LE 6.9.2?

I have recently upgraded from PB G4 867mhz to G5 Dual 2gig 1.5 gig of RAM.

With this I have also updated from PT 6.2.3 to Tiger/PT6.9.2

I was wondering if someone could confirm now that when I do a cut/punch, in the edit window where I used to have a straight line (and normally a click) I now have a '/' stroke at the top - and no click?

Is this PT auto-cross fading? I cannot see anything in the update manual or in the preferences (to turn it on or off?)??

any info appreciated..

Justin.

By the way, Mbox and PT 6.9.2 and setup are all good...

Nothing untoward, and loving the speed...
