Audio Vision to Pro Tools

I'm doing some short film audio sweetning on P.T. and the session was exported for P.T. from A.V.. Upon opening the P.T. session I found tracks with volume and pan info but no audio or regions (I have the audio files but the session had no reference to them). The A.V. editer probably did not export to P.T. correctally- any sugestions which I could pass on to her that she maybe did incorectally?
