Default crossover plugin?

anyone make a crossover type plugin? by that i mean take something (like strings) and split the frequency bandwidth to either 2 differnt outputs..or panned differently on stereo tracks? If not, is there a rigged way to do it? thought about duplicating the track and applying very drastic low pass/high pass filters to each one...but thought there might be a simpler way...

You can do something abit weird but you can duplicate the track and put x2 C1-sc (Waves).
Then create 2 side-chains to getout only what you need.
with 2 channels it's possible i cannot think on a single track solution .

The cheapest way is: make two sends in your string track. Create two Aux Inputs. Each Aux gets a send as Input. Insert in one Aux a DigiRack 1-EQ with a low cut and select the cutoff frequency. In the other Aux the same but with a high cut with the same cutoff frequency. Then move the pan.

Hope this was the right answer..

Good luck
