Default No sound when clicking on midi notes

Feeling kinda stupid here but I'll ask anyway. For some reason, when I click on a midi note that has been recorded, and plays the instrument just fine, I get no sound. In the past, when I would click on the note, it would show in the midi fader and would play the sound of the intended instrument note. It no longer does this. Is there some preference that I am unaware of? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything. I seem to recall that you used to be able to toggle this function on and off in a past version of P Tools but that it's not a feature anymore. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In PT 10 I think you have to toggle Play MIDI notes when editing from the Score Editor, but I may be wrong about that. In 11 it's in the Edit window.

Figured it out. There's a little speaker icon next to a midi icon in the upper right corner of the main display window at the top of the edit page. It has to be selected in order to hear the midi notes when clicking on them. Never knew that it was there as it seems to have always been on by default. Who knew?
